Creating the Next Independent Artist.
The NextGen Fellowship is a 15-week professional training program designed to develop the next generation of independent theatre artists. Through weekly classes, hands-on workshops, guest artists, and professional theatre experiences, fellows explore every department that brings a production to life—from acting and directing to stage management, design, producing, marketing, fundraising, and arts leadership.
Participants learn directly from working theatre professionals, attend productions throughout the Atlanta theatre community, and gain a comprehensive understanding of both the artistic and business sides of creating live performance.
The fellowship culminates with the NextGen Fellowship Showcase, where each fellow presents an original artistic venture that reflects their creative vision and demonstrates the collaborative skills developed throughout the program.
